Shrubs and Screening Plants

Be it evergreen or deciduous, there are shrubs for all situations and tastes. Should you want to add a splash of colour, require different leaf forms, enjoy fragrance or want berries to attract the birds, then there are many possibilities available to you.

If you need constant privacy, protection from wind, or simply as a backdrop to your garden, evergreen screening plants play an important role.  But these don’t all have to be green.  Try adding a splash of colour with red ake akes, or the Australian manuka “Coppersheen”.  Or fragrance, flowers and berries all rolled into one in the form of Luma apiculata.
